Mountain air

It's fall and I am loving the cooler temps and the shorter days! Although it is a slowdown we still have plenty of happenings going on around here. So far, I have shared my little cottage in the city on this site, but I do have a couple other cottages in the mountains. One will be a future venue, stay tuned for the photos after the last bit of details get tended to for this year! It will be a charming "rustic fairytale" vibe with old barns, small country farmhouse, larger Italian villa, chandeliers, lights and of course wildflowers! We are looking forward to booking out the farm for events in the coming year. At home, we are planting bulbs to beat the coming freezing temperatures and adding pathways to the perennial garden. It has been a year full of changes and rethinking many things from stopping to reflect on how I thought things would be to changing perspectives and seeing that there was so much more meaning surrounding me that had been neglected. Going from business owner to corporate job and then to running a cottage style farm and hospitality company has had its ups and downs, but I am feeling focused and excited to offer a bit of enjoyment to others and fulfilling my creative nature that has been captive for a few decades.
